I gotta say, I got amazing value for my money at this cute lodge. The room was clean, shiny, and oh so comfortable. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the golden circle area and the nearby hot spas. The owners were super kind and friendly, and they really made us feel at home. Can't forget to mention the adorable dogs! And the breakfast.yum!

I had a truly wonderful stay at the farmhouse lodge! The location was stunning, with a beautiful view of the river from my room window. The hosts, Magnus and his sister, made me feel warm and welcome throughout my stay. The country farm atmosphere was charming and it felt very cozy. The highlight for me was the sweet hot tub with geothermal water, especially enjoyable while watching the snowfall outside. The lodge's proximity to the "golden circle" area and the great restaurants, Mika and Fridheinar, was a big plus. I stayed for two nights and couldn't have loved it more. I highly recommend this hotel experience.

We had the most delightful stay at a lovely farmhouse surrounded by trees and fields. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, especially with horses and sheep nearby. Our room, although small, was cozy and nicely furnished with a modern en-suite bathroom. The breakfast area in the bright and relaxing patio was a real treat, with a wide selection of delicious food and homemade jam. The hosts were absolutely lovely and made our stay truly memorable.

We had an amazing Christmas experience at this farmhouse lodge! The lodge is conveniently located close to popular attractions like Bruarfoss, Geysir, and Gullfoss. This allowed us to visit these places in the late evening and avoid the crowds of tourists. We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the hosts. The kitchen and sunroom sitting area were fantastic for socializing, enjoying delicious meals, using the wifi, and chatting with other guests. The hot tub was an added bonus, especially during the cold winter nights. The breakfast served in the sunroom was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. The dogs on the property were adorable and friendly. The beautiful grounds and the path leading to the river with mountain views in the background were a sight to behold. Definitely recommend for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

There was a slight inconvenience with the shower as it leaked despite our efforts to close it as per the sign's instructions. Additionally, upon arrival, the room was a bit hot due to the unusually warm weather in Iceland.

Arbakki Farmhouse Lodge was an excellent value for the price. The room was clean, modern, and had all the amenities we needed, including a hot tub and kitchenette. The location was great for exploring the Golden Circle sights without the tourist crowds. The hosts were friendly, funny, and made us feel right at home.

There were a couple of minor inconveniences during my stay. the doors to the rooms were key code and couldn't be closed quietly from the outside, resulting in some door slamming until late evening.

This farmhouse lodge has a welcoming atmosphere and a big and cosy kitchen where guests can cook and relax. the friendly owner and staff make the stay even more enjoyable. the hot bath with geothermal water is perfect after a long day of walking. the setting is amazing, with views of the river, farm, glaciers, and mountains. the room is comfortable with blackout shades. the common spaces, including the kitchen, patio, and hot tub, allow for building community with other travelers. the hosts are exceptional and provide a hearty breakfast. Full access to the kitchen and dining area is appreciated for preparing own meals.
